BETA Transformer was selected as the ‘INNOVATIVE COMPANY OF THE YEAR’ by Refleks, the economy newspaper published in the Eastern Mediterranean. At the ceremony held at Sheraton Adana, our Assistant General Manager Yusuf Cenk Dağsuyu received the award, which made Beta proud, from Celal Toprak, President of the Economy Journalists Association. The ceremony was attended by Adana Governor Mahmut Demirtaş, Adana Deputies Tamer Dağlı, Zülfikar İnönü Tümer, Metropolitan Mayor Hüseyin Sözlü, chamber presidents, heads of non-governmental organizations and respected businessmen.
Beta Transformer’s reason for receiving the award was explained as follows:
The company, which produces transformers at its facility in Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone, has invested in R&D and innovation since its establishment. Focusing on high value-added products, it succeeded in producing a ‘cast resin dry-type distribution transformer’, which can only be made in countries with high technology. With this new product, the company achieved a growth rate of 70 percent and increased its 2018 production targets. The company is currently preparing to establish an R&D center within the factory.
