Energy Policy
As BETA ENERJİ, in line with our sustainability strategies, in line with our corporate goals;
- Within the scope of sustainability, energy efficiency, environment and climate management, to follow national and international developments, policies, legislation such as laws, regulations, legal announcements, notifications and national and international developments and policies of the countries in which we operate, to examine their impact on energy policy, to propose, plan and realize activities in line with the strategies of our company on the subject,
- To prepare energy efficiency strategies and action plans; industrial automation, Industry 4.0 and digital transformation projects in electrical, mechanical and thermal systems; renewable and conventional energy generation (electricity, steam, water, etc.) facility projects from installation to operation, together with regulatory impact analyses, monitor, evaluate, compare their implementation and plan remedial measures,
- To consider energy efficient and environmentally friendly services and technologies when creating all processes from the design stage,
- To realize continuous and uninterrupted optimum conditions by providing high efficiency with minimum energy resources and minimum emissions in our processes,
- Carrying out the implementation, coordination and monitoring activities of the Action Plan for Energy Efficiency in Industrial Facilities and Systems, following and providing support for energy efficiency audits, incentives and related legal processes,
- To determine end-to-end energy saving potentials throughout our company, to conduct or have energy audits, to carry out the necessary studies including alternative fuels, to monitor, participate in, implement, supervise and realize energy efficiency research and development projects,
- Establishing and operating the Energy Efficiency Management and Monitoring System in order to create an energy efficiency inventory, keep it up-to-date, and support planning, monitoring and evaluation activities,
- To prioritize energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in new products to be produced or new processes to be developed, planned investments and activities in the future,
- To periodically review our determined goals and objectives and to create the necessary resources to achieve these goals and objectives,
- To carry out activities in order to develop energy culture and energy efficiency awareness throughout our company and to encourage its practices, to follow the policies and strategies determined in the fields of energy efficiency and environment-energy, and to carry out or coordinate the works for their realization,
- By ensuring that our policy is understood and adopted by our employees and all our stakeholders, we declare and undertake to carry out activities to create and increase our stakeholders' awareness of responsibility in matters related to the consumption and efficient use of energy.
